There is this guy I am really interested in and we know each other from school, but we talk a lot online. He says he wants to get to know me better, but he has not asked me to actually go anywhere or do anything. Should I ask him to go do something or will it bother him? I dont want to force him into anything.

I would give him a small amount of time to work up the courage to ask you to do something with him. If he doesn't make a move (I'd give him one or two weeks) then it's your turn to make the first move. It may be that he is waiting for you to make the first move because he is not sure just how you feel about him.

P.S. Most guys find it attractive when the girl makes the first move. They tend to respect you more.

Just ask him, it wouldn't hurt. Besides he doesn't HAVE to say yes. If you want you can even tell him you like him, but make sure he doesn't already have a girlfriend first (put it in with a bunch of questions). Results NOT guaranteed

Yes, ask him to go do something, but don't put too much importance on it, like "will you marry me" just let him know that you'd like to get to know him better, too, and "let's go to the movies, the park, the museum, the zoo", etc..

I think you should ask him. Sometimes small things can grow into something big. Do it. You may regret it later in the future

Are you kidding?? Men love women that know what they want. And for once it takes the pressure off of him when it comes to the dating scene.

And furthermore, he will be completely flattered.

Dude...ask him out already. I'm sure it won't bother him if he says he wants to get to know you better....that's a hint.

if you talk online a lot. just write him and ask if he wants to go somewhere with you. if you want to go to a park or mall, ask him if he wants to go with you. here is another idea, you can ask him if he knows any cool places to go. and then ask if he wants to go with you

All you can do is try. Just be real easy and cool about it like it as if it's not for anything more than friendship. After that, whatever happens...happens. You can't win if you don't try!!

sure ask him...the most he can do is tell you no...maybe he is not sure of your answer so that is why he is not asking you..ask him if he would like to go to the movies or out for an afternoon lunch date...keep it light
