Speaking from personal experience, all of my wisdom teeth were impacted and painful. I eventually had no choice but to have them all removed. The constant headaches and jaw aches became unbearable and constantly medicating yourself is unsafe and unhealthy. Bite the bullet, and try to find an oral surgeon who will work out a payment plan for you. Don't suffer for years like I did. And...even though I had them removed years ago, it was too late for the overcrowding they had already caused...I am 32 and now soon I will be having to get a full set of braces.

I had exactly the same trouble and pain when I was 26 so I know the misery you are suffering. I would advise going to see a dentist soon as I suffered needlessly, because my wisdom teeth were impacted and were unable to cut through the gums as they should have. Impacted means the teeth are pushing to get out but, against the tooth beside it and not the gum. I ended up getting all my wisdom extracted and had no more trouble with pain. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Teeth are something you want to keep, for as long as possible. Try chewing on a clove, that's the base of ambesol or there's a topical solution OTC you can buy called Zilactin.

Wisdom teeth can become impacted and cause a lot more damage than you know. Your best bet is to get the duckets together and go see a DDS.

Good luck, hope your feeling better soon.

Depending on your jaw structure, you may or may not have a choise of keeping the wisdom teeth. If your jaw is small, they will continue to cause problems, they might get infected and cause huge problems. But, if you have large jaws, you might be able to keep them. Only dentist can tell you if you can keep your wisdom teeth or not.

Use Tylenol to ease the pain. You can steep a relly dark black tea and rinse with that. You can also try rinsing with salty water. Oak tree bark would be even better than tea, but it's hard to find. Healthfood stores might have it.

Wisdom teeth take their sweet time to grow. Sometimes they grow and sometimes they stop for a while.

If your paind doesn't go away in a couple of days or gets worse you just might have to to go to doctor. Because if your teeth get infected - you have a source of infection 3 inches away from your brain. That can be deadly.

Wisdom teeth grow between the ages of 10-21. You seem pretty young to me.

Ask your insurance company (hopefully you have one!) If you don't, get one!!!!

They should be able to help you afford the cost of an important procedure like that.

Or ask your family for some money, and tell them that you'd pay them back! Getting your wisdom teeth out is CRITICAL!

Your smile, and way you eat will be permanetly damaged (unless you want braces) if you do not get this taken care of asap!

Save some extra money, or get an extra job.

I hope I've given you some advice that will help you.

Go to an ER and complain about the constant pain, ask for something they can do. There's a good chance they'll give you some topical lidocaine and/or some tylenol/codeine/aspirin and send you on your way.

Besides over the counter stuff no, but you really need to save some money and get this taken care of. There could be long term problems like teeth overcrowding.

Tylenol...if it isn't swollen, try a heating pad, if your face is swollen, ice it. Might want to try some anbesol or oragel, also.

Try Ambesol. If you live near a dental college, you may be able to get it taken out for free.
