Ok, I just started to use Crest's Cinnamon Rush Toothpaste because I love anything Cinnamon flavored, but I noticed that it seems to be burning the tip of my tongue - I lost flavor in the tip ( you know that feeling when you get when you eat something too hot). Has that happened to anyone else? I didn't think a toothpaste was supposed to do that?

it's like the altoids i used to eat, because the flavor is so strong, it's not exactly harmful, just a little annoying.

I use this one as a secondary choice, and have not had this experience with it. You may want to call their consumer number and voice your comments. They might even send you a coupon to redeem for another toothpaste at no charge. Sounds like an adverse reaction with the chemicals in use. The best choices are toothpastes with the American Dental Association (ADA) seal on them. This particular Crest brand does not have the seal, but their regular standby products do. I would suggest using a choice with the ADA branding, then use the ACT anti-cavity fluoride cinnamon wash to leave your mouth with a pleasant aftermath taste. My last cavity was maybe 20 years ago, for what it's worth.

I use Cinnamon Rush too, and at first it did the same burning thing, but it doesn't anymore. I don't know if I got used to it, or I just stopped noticing as much. It's still my favorite.
