Ramadan a month of prayer and peace! what a joke! read below to know why.?

Christians are being targerted by muslims and since the begining of Ramadan, it shot up. A priest was kidnapping and beheaded in Mosul. Ramadan is a month of prayer and peace! that is a joke these days, because when a person wants to do something, even when it is against their religion, they can reason it as if it were for the good of their religion. Why would someone kill another person in Ramadan? is not against their faith? or just because nothing pass their lips they are still fasting?

I am not generlizing. I am only speaking of those who committed the crime, not all Muslims are criminals. That is a well known fact. I didn't think I need to add a known fact.

Ansar S, thank you for the reply. Two wrongs doesn't make it right. Iraqi people are dying every single day, it doesn't mean that other people should die too. A priest who is only job is pray and bring peace to the life of those around him as much as he can, in his limited abilities. He didn't deserve to be killed as all the innocent Muslims don't either. This question has nothing to do with Bush or his people. It has to do with those people who disrespected the whole month of Ramadan as you know what it means, and what a Muslims should do in the Holy month of Ramadan, and killing a priest is by far should never be there, not in Ramadan or any other month. Ramadan is not just about not eating or drinking, it is more than that. Killing an innocent person shouldn't be there as well.

Muslims! why does it bother you that an inocent man was killed? but you came back with reason why it is all right for his killing? why? what is wrong with this world!? Is it just me, or are people just looking for reasons to get their rage out, without any consideration for other people's life, and then reason it with that it is someone else's fault not them!?

Slave, the person who got killed was an innocent person who had nothing to do with what is happening to the innocent people in Iraq. Two wrongs doesn't make it right. You go read the Quran and don't excess the murder of another being. In the Quran said:" If a person killed another it is as if they killed the whole world." This is not word by word from the Quran, but the meaning the same.

I put up this question because of I know what the rules are in Ramadan. I read the Quran and studied it in school, if you want help with it, ask me I can help you. I was forced to learn it by the school system where I grew up, and no I am not a Muslims, and you can be whatever you like.

Okay, that's it! I am justified in my continuing disgust with the Muslims as I ever was! Look what kid of crap Artist threw at you! What a load of crap! No condemnation for the attacks, instead, well, people do bad things at Christmas!

I think here lies your answer...

1) Those who did all the killings---they are not a true muslims as the matter of fact they are hated by Islam and worst by the god of Islam for doing all the wrong things that they shouldn't have done.

2) Yes, Ramadhan is a joke for them but not to a true muslims followers.

3) Because of THEM a lot of INNOCENT MUSLIMS either got misunderstood by other religion or sometimes even "punished" for the crimes that THEY did.

My dear friend first thing i would like to say you that Ramadan is indeed a month of fasting, prayer and peace. Now, coming to your point i would like to tell you that i think you are quite unaware of other news. I mean, you just mentioned christians are targeted, but i would like to ask you that why can't you see that how many innocent muslims in which many includes young children died since the Iraq war started. What was their crime?? Even though after saddam was captured why still many are dying. I think Bush is the real terrorist. Mind you that i am strictly against what muslims have done to christians in Mosul but the point here is every community has evil doers and they donot have any religion, so i don't think any reason to correlate this with the holy month of Ramadan.

well killing someone doesnt depend on religion or religious teachings. it has to do with the mentality and nature of an INDIVIDUAL.

i can speak up only for those people who DO NOT COMMIT such acts. and why laugh at Ramadhan?. u dont have to prepare urself for a fast. u have to prepare urself to persevere and to control ur entire system -- body, mind and soul. Ramadhan is not just about fasting, its time for us to learn to keep ourselves in control. it is a time where one can learn to deal with the evil things and intentions and looking forward to being a better human being. it is a time to learn to forgive and ask for forgiveness.

Ramadhan is the time for people to better themselves in virtues of endurance, patience and forgiveness. thats what its all about. it is the time to learn to give. so yes i am looking forward this Ramadhan to be a better me.

First of all I am not going to justify killing any innocent person.
But if you consider ( God forbid just consider) some one killed your brither, father, sister, or kids. Some one raped your mother, sister or daughter. What would be your reaction? What would be your mental status at that point? Some one invaded your country without reason for oil, killing millions of innocent people, what would be your action or reaction?

When USA/ISRAEEL made a conspiracy of 9/11. What was the reaction of a common USA citizen at point whwn every one was thinking 9/11 was done by Muskims ( Now lots of wise Americans and others know and realised the truth behind 9/11incident.Did you know how many American solders get psycho?
