You can't really lose it quickly. You can try a diet, but chances are you probably won't stick with it after a while. The best idea is exercise. A gradual decrease in weight by exercise is the healthiest way to go. To lose belly fat you don't have to do exercises that target you midsection at one time (ie. situps, crunches, etc). These exercises do help, but they put a strain on your neck and back and you end up not doing the exercise correctly which won't help in the long run. All you have to do is do exercises that incorporate the midsection but doesn't target the midsection completely like running, squats, mountain climbing, mountain biking, pushups, pullups, etc. Before you know it, your waist will shrink and you won't even realize. Oh yeah----eat lots of fruits and vegatables too. They help a great deal.

Many people think that doing a ton of crunches will kill the midsection fat, but don't be fooled! You need to jog or bike a minimum of 20 minutes every day, at a pace that is challenging but not killer. If you can do more, do it! Still, you should do some crunches in order to build muscle which will help burn the belly fat. Try 25-50 a day, but spread them out so your muscles are able to recover if they are not used to it. Good luck!

eat oatmeal for breakfast with a glass of juice and plenty of water.
do some kind of cardiovascular exercise which is most comfortable for you, it may be a tredmill or a stairmaster but brisk walking is quite effective and so is swimming laps. find your nitch that you can do for twenty mins three times a week and go for it
eat some fruit and a wheat bread sandwish with turkey or something like that. drink plenty of water lay off the sodas and replace them with water, not gatorade or anything but just bottled water... drink water, it is a good way of flushing your system and will replace all of the sodium that you have lost during your workouts.
eat normal proportions and if you get hungry between meal times then make some hot tea it works great for me, my favorite is Earl Grey, but watch it around bed time because it probably has some caffine, maybe search for some decaf tea.
that is best advice I can give but I will mention some obvious things too like stay away from fast food, it is very high in fat and that is why it is satisfying, eat fruit instead
also keep a schedule the best you can like always exercise before work or something like that
also I wanna emphasize DO NOT SKIP MEALS, when you skip meals the last thing that your body uses for energy is fat, it uses all of the good stuff first so it is not a good idea not to eat lunch or to skip a meal cause you are too busy or whatever.
Good luck and don't forget that the holidays are coming and so is the fudge and all of the other good heart healthy diet busters.. enjoy cautiously and remember that too much of a good thing is not good!

Sit up are the best for toning that area, but you will also need to walk to burn some of the calories. Also don't just stop eating or go to once a day eating. It is important to maintain a healthy diet. Try only eating about 2500 calries a day and watch your fat intake. No Sweets. I know its easier said than doNE. Good luck, i know you will do it.

The same thing as fat anywhere else: watch what you eat and exercise. I would suggest a diet with a lot of ffruits and veggies and low sugar/low fat. Exercise a few times a week(4-5 days) for 30 -40 mins. Include exercises that use the abs such as crunches and situps.

Eat a good diet, heavy in protein, and don't starve yourself. Then, hit the gym, and make it a point to run, run run. I was in a similar situation, and this helped me lose over 20 lbs.
It'll take at least a couple months though. There is no quick way.

If you have stubborn belly fat, the only way you can reduce your fat is by doing aerobic exercises. During activities like swimming, rowing and walking, enough oxygen is supplied to the body to burn fat. Fat is burned from all over the body, including the stomach. The quickest is liposuction.
The cheapest, but slower is this:
-Eat less fat and sugar and drink more water (always order water and skip dessert).
-Do 20+ minutes of cardio before breakfast most mornings (any exercise that will raise your heart rate will do.
-Do crunches and a variety of other stomach exercises every other day (make sure you include stomach vacuums--google it if you don't know).

You can't lose it quick, because there is no such thing as "spot reduction". That's why sit-ups will only make your belly larger! (Muscle size will increase, but you won't lose any fat.)
You will lose weight all over with diet and exercise. The only other choice is liposuction.

diet & cardio are the only ways... eat lean meats (chicken & fish are best) and veggies... do cardio as close to every day as possible for at least 30 minutes straight
btw sit-ups won't help, it will just build muscle under the fat
