PUERTO RICO'S SISTER ISLAND CULEBRA GETS MY VOTE. THIS LITTLE UNSPOILED ISLAND IS PERFECT..NO TRAFFIC LIGHTS NO TALL BUILDINGS NO CHAIN ANYTHING I.E. RESTAURANTS HOTELS, OR AIR CARRIERS ! IT IS ENCIRCLED WITH BEAUTIFUL CLEAR, CALM WATERED, SECLUDED BEACHES. NITE LIFE CONSISTS OF BEING SERENADED BY A CHORUS OF SINGING COQUI FROGS !!!
IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO GET AWAY AND DISAPPEAR INTO THE SCENERY THEN THIS WHERE YOU NEED TO BE.

my favorite would have to be the cayman islands. the water there is fantastic, you'd come home with a great tan, it's very americanized (if that's what you're looking for).. if not, then jamaica would be my next favorite place. the water there is fabulous as well, the locals are great, and i didn't find it to be very americanized. cayman islands had all the good shopping (they carried mikimoto pearls and rolex watches, and just some really great desginers that you find in the U.S.) in jamaica, the shopping was a little more... crafty. my favorite then, would definitely have to be the cayman islands... the food, the beach, the shopping!!!! every vacation of mine has to have some extraordinary shopping, and i give the cayman islands two thumbs up! :)

any of the us virgin islands. as long as you have enough money to survive 5 days of constant taxi rides! they can get quite expensive!! but it's a beautiful place with very interesting people and lots to do. I went for 2 1/2 weeks which was too much but 5 - 7 days would have been perfect!

Cuba - pretty and dangerous. Especially now when Fidel is giving up his powers to his brother, Raul.
Havana is beautiful and do not forget to visit Havana Centro - destroyed by modern communism but pretty at the same time.
Countryside is just awesome. If you like water - skiing, scuba diving, sailing, etc. - Cuba is a paradise. And the best of all, no Grngos around!!!

St. Lucia is mind-blowing. lots to do once you are the adventurous style or you are able to purely relax on the sea coast. My husband (33) and that i (30) went there for the 1st time in 2006 and characteristic been decrease back two times. The final time for 15 days! we like it there. I truthfully have lots of photos and might answer any questions you are able to desire to have with regard to the island. The Caribbean is captivating and that i'm advantageous which you are going to have an stunning time no rely which island you opt for!

I personally enjoyed Grand Cayman. They have great shopping/dining/diving ect. You can visit the famous town called Hell, the turtle farm, stingray city and the famous Seven mile beach. Golfing is great there. They have submarine tours and a new skate park that Tony Hawk helped design. Great for relaxing and touristy things :)
And they have the best rum in the caribbean! Tortuga rum is sooooo good! And great to bring home as gifts :)

I know that I am repeating myself but I would say ST Maarten
because in that 5 days you can visit
SABA ---For diving or walking
Anguilla-Swim with the Daulphine
ST Barts to eat french food and visit the most beautiful beaches
so in ST Maarten you get the best for your money
and you see other Islands
each of these Islands are 30.mn boat ride

Try the Alamanda Resort in the FWI on the Island of St Martin. It is on a beach which is one half mile walk to a nude beach. It is a quiet place but lots of sun fun and happiness. Go in Nov-Jan or April-May for best time. Click: http://www.alamanda-resort.com/msie4.html

BARBADOS! hands down....beautiful island...lots of stuff to do...we rented a catamaran..the water was so clear....breathtaking...also, rented wave runners..they had tons of places for tourists..and it was easy to get around. The beaches were cool and soft..absolutely perfect!
It was a great "party island" constant sound of steel drums, very friendly people, great food, and tons of island punch! Beware of the rum!
