No, there's nothing wrong with you. Where I live, 16 is the age of consent, so obviously I don't think you're a paedophile or anything.
If you're not going to try anything, then why worry? You know the law, you know what to do, just do it (or don't, in this case).
I kind of wish you'd stop posting this question though. You don't even put any details on it.

I am not going to judge you or anything because it is not my place. I will say, do not go after this girl. You can get into serious trouble but you already know that.
Wait two years, stop the flirting,if you are, and go out with people your own age. You may find someone and this girl will leave your mind.
