I think you can be generally happy with your life and still be unhappy about your weight. If everything else is going well in your life and you happen to gain weight....well that is just a temporary state. You could always lose weight. I know a person who is obsessed with her weight, exercising, her clothing size and clothes. I think if she gained weight she would be unhappy because she is already an unhappy person (she is very superficial). But let's say that their is someone out there that is overweight but they are sincerely okay with it and happy...in our society, the judgmental looks people give, the expectations of the media to be thin, the constant messages out there telling your their is something wrong with you...you may not stay happy about your weight for long. It would take a strong person.

in basic terms because you're overweight does no longer advise that you'll't sense free. Weight is only a ensure. With perfect exercising and weight-reduction plan and many will means, it would get replaced any time:) yet i'm particular each and all and sundry needs they could commerce it for yet another one faster or later of their lives. yet maximum locate the fashion to stay with what they have.

I think just a little overweight, some people can be, especially if they have a nice curvy figure. I know one thing, I am miserable being underweight, so would rather be slightly over than slighty under, as my boobs look bigger and my face looks fuller. At present I'm just normal weight. HTH : )

Happiness is something you find withIN yourself. If you love yourself, and accept yourself as a unique creation, you should be able to find inner peace regardless if you are overweight or not! I know some very fit, weight conscious, "beautiful" people who are "ugly as sin" on the INside, and some that (according to our twisted images of beauty),are generally lacking in looks, intellect, and basic social graces that are beautiful on the INside

Some people are very confident, even if they are overweight. But lots of people are insecure. You are considered overweight if you have a bmi over 25 (healty between 20-25) calculate ur bmi here:http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/

I would say "close but no cigar"
I used to be overweight, and it is very difficult, to enjoy your life, you cant run fast, or participate in normal activities, finding clothes that fit you is a hastle, you cant share clothes with your friends, you cant go on some rollar costers at the fair, people stare at you, and taunt you.
Its just best to try and loose weight, thats what i did, I am much happier now :)

obesity is overweight and sometimes when you're obese many people will make fun of you. it can also cause you insecurity. if you are insecure you'll have a low self steem and bec. of that you become unhappy. being overweight is bad for our health too.

One probably couldn't be TRULY happy in today's culture. Sure they could say they are, but there's always negatives (poor health and judgement).
