It should read
'¿cuantos días hay en un mes?
The answer should be,
'depende del mes,
Enero
Marzo
Mayo
Julio
Agosto
Octubre
Diciembre
tienen 31 días.
Febrero
Abril
Junio
Septiembre
Noviembre
tienen 30 días
y
Febrero tiene 29 días
excepto cuando es un año
bisnieto cuando tiene 28 días.

LaTishia: As the others above said, the question doesn't make a whole lot of sense. It would come out something like "How many days are there in your month?" It takes some imagination to conjure a situation where that question would make sense.
If the question is "How many days are in a month?", as the other respondents suggest, then their answers are also correct. "Hay 31 días en un mes." Or, "Depende del mes", etc. Maybe you could give more information?

It means "How many days are in this month?" So you'd reply 28, 30, or 31, depending on the month. 28 is veintiocho 30 is treinta 31 is treinta y uno A proper way to answer would be "Hay (number of days) dias en (insert month here)." For example, "Hay treinta dias en Abril." :)
