What is the difference between cuticle remover and cuticle oil? Can I use cuticle oil to remove cuticle? Is removing cuticle absolutely necessary to maintain healthy nails? Thank you for your contributions!

cuticle remover REMOVES your cuticles by dissolving them and making them come off. its pretty gross.

cuticle oil softens your cuticles so you can gently push them up and if you want, trim them carefully.

well, you aren't supposed to cut your cuticles because it could create an infection. instead you should push them back with cuticle oil often enough that they don't grow down so far and get gross. i cut mine anyhow because i don't have time to keep up in such a way.

Removing the cuticle is a bad idea and can weaken the base of the nail where it grows. It's best to use cuticle oil or cream, rub the oil into your cuticles thoroughly, then gently push back the cuticle with an orange stick (sold at drugstores and beauty supply stores)

These steps aren't that great so I'm gonna give you my aesthetics doctor's suggestions.. 1. Making skin smooth: Exfoliate three times a week unless you're using a light and gentle exfoliant. If it's gentle then you can do it every day. 2. Moisturize by layers: Get a good spray. (I don't think this step is that important.) I'd suggest one with a tiny bit of jojoba oil and lot of rose. 3. Use tea tree oil for any blemishes, and a toner to even your skin tone. (SO important) 4. Moisturize with a good lotion twice a day
