The Eid-ul-Fitr holiday is going to be around the October 23rd timeframe. Please check your local listing for exact date.
The holiday is usually 3 or 4 days long.

This month we are celebrating hari raya puasa( aidilfitri) after 1 complete month of fasting in the month of ramadhan. Next coming month is the Hari Raya Haji (aidiladha). Celebating the people that e=went haj at mecca ( saudi arabia). Is that answer your question.

On 24 and 25 October 2006 we will celebraste Idul Fitri on ! Syawal 1427 Hijriah in muslim calendar.On December 31,2006 we will celebrate Idul Adha (Dzulhijjah,10,1427 Hijriah in muslim calendar..Rich muslims will slaughter cows or goats for the poor pesons at that day.At that time haj pilgrimages are in Mina after praying at Arafah area.They will slaughter cows,goats or camels
too.
