Different species have different incubation times; anywhere from 17-18 days for a hummingbird to as much as 59 days for an ostrich. A chicken is about 21 days, as is a parakeet.

It varies on the bird speices. But the question of the day for you is do you only have 1 bird or a pair of birds? If you have only 1 bird and it laided a egg. It will never hatch, remember it takes 2 birds to make a baby. (1 boy and 1 girl)

That depends on the type of bird that you have. In my experience, cockatiels and lovebirds incubate their eggs for around 18-23 days, with each egg hatching every other day (since birds lay eggs every other day).

However, there are instances where egges hatch at a later date (My pet bird had an egg who hatched 1 week overdue)
