hmmmm. Pulling a tooth out of a cat yourself to avoid a trip to the vets? Sounds like there will be a good chance YOU'll end up in the ER! Ever try to get a cat to ANYTHING it doesn;t like? If you do , wrap him up in a towel first, other wise you'll be shredded wheat. Give it a few more days , it'll probably fall out

I don't know about with animals but I'm pretty sure that it is the same thing. When a tooth becomes loose it is because the next tooth is coming in they take a long time to break through the gingival (gums) if it doesn't seem like the loose tooth is bothering the animal leave it alone if it is take the animal to a vet to have them remove it. if you just yank it out you risk giving the animal bone spurs which will hurt like hell and you will have to go get them filed down which will cost you because the vet didn't do the procedure themselves. also there is a risk of dry socket which is when the bone is exposed to air because of a lack of blood clot and that hurts like hell. Along with an abscess where the tooth was removed. On top of that it will hurt the animal by just pulling it out without any anesthetic. You should just leave it alone it will fall out on its own.

Alright this happens all the time. The permanent teeth sometimes grow faster than the baby teeth are ready to fall out. The permanent tooth will grow around the baby tooth instead of pushing it out. It will appear that there are 2 rows of a given tooth. Some dentists will pull the baby tooth if it causes a problem but in 9 out of 10 cases it just needs to be left alone and take its course. As long as there is no blood and it does not hurt you don't have to be worried unless you still have trouble after an extended period of time.

It will be fine. The tooth will fall out in a few days. The best thing to do is feed the kitten dry food only for the next few days. Kitty should be fine as long as there isn't a fever. Easiest way to tell is the kitty will sleep alot more than usual, and be warmer to the touch. If this happens take to a vet. Hope this helps

Pop it out ....if your girlfriend gives her blessing of course. The cat may not like it being pulled....just like a child would not like it and may protest a bit....but should feel better afterward. If the tooth is very loose you should not have much bleeding...but expect a little blood. If you meet any resistance with the pull ...then stop...I can't see how loose it is...but you don't want to have to drag the kittys head back and forth. If it is loose enough a firm push in the opposite direction of the wiggle should suffice and the needle nose pliers wouldn't be needed.

You should let a Vet or his Vet Tech take it out. You could damage the roots to the adult tooth if it's that close together. Plus, it would be a lot less painful for the cat.

I have a Golden retriever that had the same thing. All the other teeth fell out just fine but one it was bugging me so i pulled it out. Yeah it does bleed but not any worse than the ones that fall out on there own. I don't think it would be painful either.
