i've been considering piercing my bottom left lip with a stud, possible a small black one. what do you think?

I have my lip pierced. I get tons of compliments on it because it fits my style. I only use studs tho, lip rings are over rated anyways.
If you get it pierced and don't like the look you can always take it out. It won't leave a scar, I promise. My piercer said your lip skin heals quicker because its different tissue. He also mentioned you can have your lip pierced for years and take it out for about 30 minutes and it will close up. It isn't like your ears. So it's up to you and your motive.

It would probaly look good but the bottom left piercing is getting a bit played out. Alot of "emo" teeny-boppers are doing it so if you are going to do it alot of people would put you into those type of catagory......but hey its not like I could stop you from trying it out so you should just do it to see how it is and if you dont like it well you can take it out several months later Good Luck

To me facial piercings are unattractive. A small black stud kinda looks like a large mole. If you want to do something to get people to notice you, smile.

Whatever you want to do. Personally not my thing. I want to keep my beauty as long as I can. I don't think they are very pretty to look at, lip piercings. make you stick out and look like a freak. But whatever you want to do.

I think NO It always looks to me like people who have lip piercings have been eating sloppily and left some food hanging on their mouth. Ewwwwww.

You're not ugly, but if I had to judge you by appearances I'd say you're probably really quiet and shy and reserved. Even if that's completely wrong, thats how you look ......So a shy reserved person with a lip ring? .......Absolutely. I say go for it. If you love them, get one. Even if others dont think it 'suits you', eventually everyone will get used to it.

If your intention is to have people stare at your lip and be memorized by the piercing wondering " is that a zit?" instead of looking at "you" - your smile, eyes, not listening to what you have to say?

As a permanent-makeup artist, i say DONT DO IT!!!!! the holes in your face stay there and as you age they along with everything else is influenced by GRAVITY, meaning it will streach out, by the time you are 50 you'll be filling the thing with silly putty!!!!

it all depends upon the person. some people just don't look good with certain piercings, and other people look really good with them.
