No you cannot help you you like at times, but you can control what you do, and if you try to pursue him it can have consequences btwn you and a family member (your cousin) or him later on in life. What if he misses your cousin and wants her back b/c he also had a history with her. How would you juggle your feelings for him, and your cousin?

No. It's ok.
Actually, when guys get dumped, they often start looking at relatives and friends of their ex - since they already know them a little, and there was SOMETHING that worked before, so women who have things in common with their ex are better than random new women. Just get ready for a little bit of weirdness and tension when everybody gets together at first--it shouldn't be too bad, though.

Nope. Who cares if he went out with your cousin? You're not your cousin, you have your own free will.
