I have had several different types and i loved them! out of 7 sets of extentions over 12 years i did have 2 of them with hair that was put on upside down, this was very , very itchy! the best are called great lengths, they used this product in the salon i worked at ! Love them! though a bit spendy about 7-9 hundred for the hair and 2-3 hundred to have them put in.

Hair extensions are very cool if done correctly. There are many different methods. Some are sewn in, some are glued, some are braided in, and others are done with thread. The best ones that i know of that look most natural are SOCAP hair extensions. They are sort of glued in. It has an adhesive glue like material on the edge that gets heated up with a special iron which fuses the extention & your hair together. It looks very natural when done correctly Try doing a search for SOCAP extensions and find out where they can be done in your area... I think you can put in your zipcode on their site & find the nearest salon that does them. The down side of extentions are that you can never comb your hair from root to end. They are & or can be painfull to sleep on. And only last 3months. The costs are very high. they can range from $300- $2,000 for a full head. Depending on the length, time, & type of extentions. Hope that helps.

it depends what kind of extentions u want to get, u can get extentions where they pick small sections or ur hair and glue the extention onto it the only thing is some straightening irons if u were to use them on ur hair can melt the glue thru the rest of ur hair or urve got the option of having wefts of hair weaved into ur hair, this is achieve by taking sections and cornbraiding them across the head then the extention weft is sewen in. this process is less damaging on the hair as the wight isnt pulling on the hair.
extentions are a costly process as u have to go back every 3 to 5 months to get them redone. sometimes it just pays to stick it out and keep it up with the growing process then u no ur keeping ur hair in good condition.

Hi!
Extensions are expensive (about 300-500 dollars) and must be kept up about every 3 months.(about 150 dollars) They are glued to your real hair after small cornrows are made. They look great for a while, then your hair starts falling out and breaking off at the attachment area. My sister's was going bald in those areas after she had them. It was a nightmare for her. It took her years to get her hair back to normal again. My clients wear temporary extentions. Hair attached to comb-snaps. They look great but they are just a bit uncomfortable. Wig shops have them and some salons. Look up Wigs on the web. I get my client's extensions from Look of Love International. www.lookoflove.com You might also try Paula Young wigs. Wish you luck!

I have the same problem as you.
I have found that micro links are the best for my hair, that means that they won't be fused or permanently attached to my hair and it won't snap my hair off.
You can find them on e-bay for very low prices, But you really should consult a stylist, hairdresser and ask about their prices and techniques, Remember if you do it at a hair salon, always ask what kind of training they have had, you don't want a half assed job done by someone who is not quallified.

Extentions are fabulous..........you should try the clip in version firs to see if you like it. Once you have decided on the length, look, and texture, find someone to sew it in, or fuse it in. There are so many options. Extensions rock. I love them. Good luck.

Wearing them for a long period of time can cause your own hair to fall out--big problem.
