its a small bubble type thing thats on the top of my lip. what can i do to remove this?

Yes, it sounds like you have a cold sore. I use Blistex but I've heard Abreva will heal it quicker than anything.

If it started as a tingle and then a sore like a small blister, it is a coldsore. Be careful as they are very contagious. It is a virus and many situations can trigger an outbreak. Stress, fatigue, fever, trauma to the lip area. Time will heal it. Along the way either Carmax, Abreva or Blistex will help relieve the pain.

Abreva is the best thing I've found. It's kind of expensive but the little tube will last a long time. Try taking lysine (you'll find it with the vitamins) daily, it seems to lessen the occurence and the severity. Don't try popping the blister-you could start an infection-that would be a lot worse than the cold sore.

It could be a pimple, but sounds like a cold sore!
I used to get them and Carmex worked the best, but start using right away and several times a day!!!
