Mankind have successively persecuted and even killed the Messengers of God throughout history. But afterwards, they usually realized the divine station of these Messengers, so they built statues of stone and bronze for worshipping, and their repenting kisses have worn out quite a big number of those statues.
In our age of man's maturity, Baha'u'llah, the most recent Messenger of God, has forbidden His followers to make statues or even pictures for worshipping Him. So mankind have no longer any chance to offer repenting kisses on statues or images, they must kiss their human fellows instead! If we don't learn to change soon our outdated thinking, we may keep on wasting money and time and labor to make and to kiss the dead and helpless statues!

This is not so much a question as a polemic.

Bah'ai is usually regarded as a syncretistic religion built on Islam and Christianity. It shares Islam's extreme iconoclasm. Images, much less idols, are regarded with horror.
