If you want pink hair it must be bleached real light blonde first for it to show up. Kind of like a white canvas for pink paint. If you want to make your own pink color to put on the blonde hair.I'd suggest food coloring red. (it won't make your hair red it'll be pink) If your going to buy pink hair color I'd suggest using a brand called special effects. It's the most permanent Punky color on the market. Anything else will fade very fast. The next best punky color brand on the market is called manic panic which is typically found at Sally's beauty supply. Hope that helps

Hi, my name is Eunice Saunders and if you are wanting something that is semi permanent Kool-aid....yes I said Kool-aid! It works great and will last a long time too. It comes in all sorts of colors. Just mix a package of Kool-aid with a little bit of warm water to make about 1/4 cup of dye and paint it on your hair or you can pull your hair through a streaking cap and put the dye on then. Don't use the pre-sweetened kind of Kool-aid..just the regular kind....also you can use any other kind...store brands work just as good....you can also use food colors to make great hair dyes...but Kool-aid is pre-packaged and easy to use. I used to raise tiny tea cup poodles and used to color their hair this way for the Halloween season....that's how I know it works! Good luck!

If you have very light colored hair you can use Koolaid, but it won't work well if you have dark hair. Most people use it for touch ups.
