You said it my friend--not any one path is right for all people and I think religious paths should be unique as the individual--but that we should be willing to share what we have learned with others if it helps them find and figure out what works for them--peace out!

I don't think there is a superior culture. Religion is only there to help people get on the right path. Everybody has their own choice of what religion suits them. Some may not have a religion but it doesn't make them any inferior.
It's what we do as a human being in general. The responsibility we show to our fellow human and the environment. We can put on a fake appearance, but we cannot hide from ourselves. The universal truth can only be achieved by the person that practices true unconditional love.

Could be a very dangerous Nazi pov if a particular culture/religion got into that state of mind. If a 'superior culture' exists its the combination of all cultures and religions where all can exist freely and practice there own beliefs while maintain there own identity. Some of the Japanese Anime programs out there also share this idea as the 'perfect future' for mankind heres hoping. Perhaps the UK is paving the way showing the world how its done given time.

Man has created many Gods over time because he does not want to die. He then goes out to kill those who don't believe or worship exactly the way he does. Jesus was a man who wanted to help establish a Kingdom of Heaven to replace the Kingdom of Herod because they were taxing people so much.
Some people are more advanced than others and some ethnic groups seem to be more advanced. If fact, there have been some really smart people over the last 2000 years. Learning is a life long process and should never stop. Nikola Tesla was one of those. He gave us alternating current electricity. Archimedes was another great thinker and inventor. Our greatest problem is that we cannot pass on the knowledge we have to our children. They have to start all over. Our best bet is to start teaching really early and make reading a top priority. We seem to be able to remember only about 10% of what we know so reading is really the answer.
The link below is about our future and past as seen by some really smart people.

Hmmm.....nope not really. Every religion has something different for everyone to learn from. As for the right religion.....I believe every religion has a truth to it....whether one is the one that will get you into heaven I cannot say for everyone....I hope it's Christianity though =). No culture is superior to another. There's a lot of people who would like to think so but all cultures are generally equal and each have contributed to the state and advancement of the world with which we live.

Every culture is uniquely valuable, but it is the responsibility of intelligent people to live in the real world and adapt to the society they live in and not try and act as though everyone else should adapt to them. The most valuable parts of any culture are the parts that promote life and peaceful co-existence, and the parts that should be re-examined and discarded are the parts that promote death, vengeance, arrogance and intolerance - teachings that belong to a more primitive time, when ignorance was rife and survival was daily on the line.
Just because Christianity preaches a wonderful gospel of peace does not mean that we must swallow and put up with the arrogant, ignorant rantings of the Christian right wing. Just because Islam promotes the family and respect for women, does not mean that we must put up with the rantings of extremists who preach death to all who do not conform to their interpretation of the Holy Koran. There can be no rights without responsibilities.

Surely truth can be found in every culture and even in many different religions. Yet truth is often mixed with lies in order to lead us away from a truthful conclusion. Therefore, anyone who is led away from Christ because of their religion is indeed being led away from eternal life. For He has said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life, and no man comes to the Father except by me."
Many years ago, before it could be proven, many people had different theories about the shape of the earth. Yet one viewpoint proved to be the right one in time...why is it we fail to believe that there may indeed be one absolute and universal truth in the area of religion?

Since they have been several "world" floods . it is hard to say to what heights any previous civilization rose to before being destroyed.
The first recorded religion was a Sun worshiping one.
Every Religion and Culture holds a Piece of the puzzle and through honest talking we can learn something of what made our self's.

Yes and No.
Yes I really think there is a superior culture. America was the only country founded upon Christian precepts. It was morally superior to anything else until Lincoln undermined it.
No everybody doesn't have something of value to learn from. North Korea and Islamic dictatorships have absolutely nothing to contribute to the betterment of mankind.

I think its sort of individualized. You have good and bad in every culture. It depends on the person.
One can consider an others point of view without accepting that view. Every culture has something valuable to teach. I lived three years in South Africa and one in Japan it was fascinating.
Religions don't offer me anything but I accept people as long as they don't proselytize. If it makes them get through their day better, great.
