Possible reasons why you might sweat more when working out:

1. Your age has increased and it's more difficult to do almost everything because your metabolism is slowing down, even though you don't want it to. We have no choice here unfortunately.

2. Your body size and weight has increased and makes everything have to work harder. This includes heart, kidneys, liver, back muscles, all joints including knees, wrists etc.

3. Your body is working harder to exercise because it's under a heavier 'load' for some reason. Maybe one of the above body parts are stiff or getting tired.

LOAD: I like to think of it like pulling a wagon. If the wheels aren't well lubricated [like stiff joints] and one pulls it, it might take more "force" to pull it than if the wheels were well oiled and had 5 lbs of weight in it. So now you oil the wheels and add 15 lbs of weight and it pulls easier than when it was empty with dry wheels. BUT, put 35 lbs in it and it's much harder to pull again, even with well oiled wheels.

SO, either make the joints stiffer, adding a couple years to our age, or adding more weight to our body will -all- cause us to add more "force" to do ANYthing and the result is more perspiration.
