someone goes through our cars after dark in our apartment complex. yes were dumb and leave the doors unlocked...but that's not my question. how can i catch them personally and have my husband whoop the piss out of them. i dont want to get the cops involved, cuz then they'll stop doing it and my husband wont be able to catch them. any advise?

Three ways I can think of....
One, motion operated lights...When the lights go on, move in for observation and corrective action with your husband
Two, night vision capable video camera mounted in your car or mounted nearby,
Three, and probably MOST effective; place a not-so-friendly Dog in the back seat for a nap

I'd advise you NOT to encounter the thieves yourselves. You want your husband to catch them so he can whoop them? Is he invincible? What happens if they've got a gun and then they get away? Lock your doors and get an alarm on your car.

put a hidden camera in ur car find out what time he comes then install a zapper so when he grabs the door handle it zaps him then well ur watching him get zapped sneak up and imobilize him tie him up and kick his *** as long as u like then call the cops

Put hot dogs inside your car....and those bastards will come. Stand in watching distance and tell your husband to carry a hammer. Then after you catch them....you know what to do. Hit them with the hammer.....repeat...(as many times as you like.)

Well you could get together with a neighbor and you could wait in the other car and while he is rifling through yours you catch him.
If you beat him up he could still turn around and try and charge you for assault. Try to get him to take the first swing by confronting him.

Talk with the cops about what is going on. One gung ho cop will probally set up something on his night off and try to catch them. the your husband wont go to jail for assault or even get killed. oh lock your doors. or you could sit in the back seat and wait on them. Frozen paint balls in a paint ball gun hurt badly.(hint hint)
Then you could say they broke in on you.
