My daughter is at Ft Jackson. We were told not to send anything Express mail or Overnight. But I send most things Priority. They don't have to be signed for like the other ones, but still get there PDQ. No problems to date with this way of sending things.

As long as you're not sending it MPS (from one APO to another), you can send it however you want. Priority will get there faster than Parcel Post, and the cost difference is usually worth it then. You CAN send it express, but it's not guaranteed to be delivered to the recipient the next day, so it's a waste of money unless your soldier has a civilian address that it would be delivered to.

Everything we get mailed to us here (at our APO in Germany) is priority.

You should be able to send it either way. The restrictions would be on the overall size and weight of the package. Best go to the local Post Office for the best answer.

It's only guarantied to reach the MPO (millitary post office) quick.
But after that, who knows?
