It's a sin to ask whether it's a sin to pray for things that are a sin, you sinner!

Sin is an outdated concept. You have a brain. You can think of the pros and cons of such things, yourself. When it comes down to it, you have to make up your own mind whether something's good side outweighs it's bad side. You have to live your own life. What some sheepherders thought God said about it a couple thousand years ago don't really matter.

It is never a sin to pray. Yet it is foolishness on your part to expect God to answer Prayer that is asked for things sinful.
