I have 3 cats and have moved one of their litter boxes to a new location. They know where it because they are using it. However, I keep noticing urine and poop in the place where their box used to be. I've tried spraying the area with carpet cleaner, that Urine Gone from TV (doesn't work, so don't bother), and I've tried putting other stuff in that area, but they keep doing it. I'm not sure which one it is either or if it's more than one. I have 2 females (1 adult, 1 kitten) and 1 adult male. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated!

I don't know if this would work since this is most likely a cat upset about a moved litter box, but to discourage my cat from pooping under my bed, I duct taped tin foil down. She refuses to walk on it, so she can't poop/pee there anymore.
Try that to discourage them from stepping foot in the corner. Then later, when they've accepted the new location, you can take it up.
Also, I've seen it recommended of moving litterboxes by a few inches a day to the location you want it to be in. If you have the patience for this, you might also try "leading" the cats to the new location at a pace they'll accept.

Hi Grace...some cats can be very resistent to change of the litterbox location unfortunately and disply their disatisfaction with the accidents as you are witnessing--they are creatures of familiarity and territoriality. Therefore ideally it would be best to place a small litterbox in that area if you would be willing to consider it.
Also consider using Nature's Miracle it's available worldwide in most pet stores. It's an enzymatic neutralizer that removes urine odours effectively. It works by soaking the affected areas and then let air dry. Repeated application may be necessary if the odours are severe. Here's a photo of the product line to help you locate it on the retail store shelves: http://www.petsmart.com/media/ps/images/products/detail/large/June05/lg_50648_47f09.jpg

Cats do not like dirty litter boxes. Even a single cat will snub a litter box when it is dirty.
Cats sometimes are even picky with other cats peeing in the same box. I suspect the adult male is not only peeing in the box he is also spraying it.
Clean the box more often or get multiple boxes.

Your male kitten is pooing and pissing in the house because he is a male and males tend to leave scent and mark their terrotory. He is probably in heat. This is the same case with females. What you can do is take them to a vet. He will suggest some stuff to do for this problem. My friend has a kitten and he has the same problem. He is in heat. It will stop in some days. If its ok with you to have kittens then you should just deal with it but if you dont...GO TO THE VET!!!!!

Sounds like:
1) dirty box
2) someone is angry or sick
3) someone doesn't like where the new box is
If it's two or three, you're going to have to watch them like hawks and figure out who's doing it. If it's one, well, that one's easy to fix.
Also, to help get the smell out of the carpet, if you peel up the carpet just in that corner, replace the padding, and spray the floorboards with Kilz, that should help.

that's not widely used for a healthful canines to pee themselves. I definitely have owned canines for years and in some cases they could pee of their crate, yet in no way in basic terms pee on an identical time as mendacity down or of their beds till they have been ill. That being pronounced, I owned one canines that I talked approximately as an excite-a-pee. A bassett hound and each time somebody walked into the homestead, petted her, scolded her or on occasion even in basic terms appeared at her, she pissed. She ruined a settee, my mattress and a chair before I pronounced the hell with it and became her over to a rescue. (I had gotten her from a chum who could not save her - i ask your self why). yet another trip to the vet is so as, yet i could additionally evaluate a canines coach, even although he remains youthful. I additionally doubt that he's not clever. Terriers are extremely clever, yet very obdurate. I definitely have in no way widely used of a stupid terrier mixture, yet have widely used lots that are obdurate.
