Aren't we really here in R&S because we secretly want to believe?

Don't our critical questions about belief just prove that God is real? After all, he said that believers would be criticized.

Then there's the pseudoquestions that quote that "It is the fool who says in his heart there is no god" line.

Why can't we prove that there is no god?

Why do we hate god?

Why don't we just do whatever we want, if there are no permanent consequences?

Why do we want to go on living if there's nothing after death?

Why are we supporting satan?

Why are we with the Islamists?

Why do we always admit there's a god when we're on our deathbeds?

How can you look at *insert natural wonder here* and not believe in God?
How can you have a child and not believe in God?
If God didn't create the universe, who did?
How could you go to church all those years and not believe?
If we evolved from monkeys, why aren't people turning into monkeys right now?

Sadly, many of these questions come from my family. I love them all dearly, but the things they say....

not in general, but the bombardment by some who really act rude I'd like to know why the rudness, like the way to properly divide the word is with a chain saw. Not exactly trying to spread the love

The one I find the most annoying is the question about how we can have any morality since you have no fear of punishment. It really makes me wonder what the guys who ask it really want to do.

Most common questions are ones that have the asker's unjustified opinion(s) in it. Rarely are there ones that genuinely wonder. Go here:

The first one is called Atheist, and the second one answers why we atheists "care about religion."

the ones i get the most:

"look at how complex and beautiful the world is, how can there not be a god?"

and

"why do good things if you don't believe you're going to heaven for it?"

*Can you PROVE there is no god?
Why don't you believe in god?
Isn't it better to play it safe and just believe?
*How can atheists be moral?
Why do you keep living if there's no afterlife?
If you don't believe in god, what happens to you when you die?

These are probably the ones that I get the most, hence they are the most frustrating (particularly those with *'s).
