If you mean afraid of losing your hair, you shouldnt worry.Unless you plan on dying it multiple times in a small amount of time you should be ok. Just follow the directions. I dye my hair a lot, every couple months usually and I am having no problem with losing my hair. Just buy a hair dye that has some kind of natural oils to put in with your dye.

I've been dying my hair since the 8th grade so...about like 4 years now and My hairs in the same maybe even better condition than it was then. You shouldn't really have anything to worry about unless you're bleaching it. If you go to a salon you can ask them questions about the chemicals in the dye and what effects it has.

Make sure you dont put it directly on your scalp. When you put chemicals on your roots it kills the healthy roots, and its harder for your hair to grow back, or it just doesnt when your older. I'm not saying leave an inch of your roots out that would be peculiar, but dont apply direcly to your scalp. Professionals are your best bet if you dont know how, but if your doing it yourself you can still ask a professional for some tips when you get your hair cut next time. They dont usually refuse.

the trick is to do a deep conditioning about 3 days b4 coloring that way the hair is stronger and it has much higher chance of not damaging or breaking during or after the coloring...

If you go to a salon I can guarentee that you won't lose your hair. To be sure, check with your hairstylist-- they know what they are talking about more than I do! Also, to protect it, there are special shampoos and conditioners you can buy for colored hair.

You can buy hair dyes in health food stores. They contain no chemicals, and come in all the regular colors.

TRY IT ONCE AND YOU'LL SEE THE DIFERENCE. IF YOU USE LOREAL PREFERENCE, IT'S A GREAT PRODUCT.
