I can easily see where you are coming from. With that said I can also see you know nothing about the God I love.
To quote you"If you religion was based on treating people right, loving your family, exploring the possibility of a superion being, and being happy, people would accept christianity with open arms" This is exactly what my faith and beliefs are based upon.
Did you not watch the story of the killings in the Amish School.
The reaction of the Amish faithful is a prime example of how all Christians should act.
Since many followers of the christian faith are blinded by the devil many of them if not most will wind up in The hell you spoke of. If you do not want to spend all eternity with these types of people. Study Gods word and maybe you will be in heaven at the end of this age.

What a stupid question! It is obvious that you are a believer of something idiotic if you talk of the devil as a real entity. It's just one of the characters in storybooks, like gods. Yes, in plural, because our primitive ancestors all over the world invented many, many gods according to their own needs. Then some gods were hijacked, as is the case of the Hebrew construct called Yahweh, whom the Christians and later the Muslims borrowed. The Christians want to be rewarded after death with a good seat by the throne of god, and live happily ever after, the Muslim men dream of all those virgins. We don't even know if they just will feed you grapes or will be available for sexual purposes. (What will the poor women get?) So which nonsense is more realistic?
Too bad you didn't reveal how old (or rather how young) you are. If you don't live in a theocracy, there are libraries full of books to find out about different religions. By the way, they all start out being the ideal thing, even though initiated by mentally unstable "prophets", but successive madmen always find the way to exploit them for their own purpose.

I know it is hard for unbelievers to fathom but we base much of our life on what God has revealed to us through prayer, Scripture, church, and circumstance.
Actually the world hates us because Jesus and his followers testify what the world does is evil. Yes we are closed to evil things. Would we dare dabble in things God has told us already to stay away from and warn others about?
Actually many facts and theories are argued even among Christians so in many ways we dont agree. But the core principles of Jesus being the son of God and his atoning blood we do agree on.
Your view of religion seems to be a self-centered effort from humans to self-help themselves. It is more like secular humanism. God is the center of our religion and HE is the most important thing not US.
-Is it good we fear God? The one that has the power to create and destroy entire worlds and people? Hmmmm maybe so!
-Blind faith? Yes we have faith but is it really blind? Jesus said he is the only one that can make us see!
-Following rules? Since when is that a bad thing? That sounds more like an argument a 3rd grader would use that has a problem with authority!
-fire and brimstone? Is there not punishment for the things we do wrong? If you go gun down 10 people on a streetcorner is there not going to be consequences and punishment?
I dont want to suggest anything that is going to make you too uncomfortable but maybe the reason why Gods ways seem so foreign to you is because you do not know God and dont believe the principles he has laid out for you and the rest of us?

Hate surrounding Christians ? And where is the hate coming from ? Christians are full of Love, not hate. My question to you, is why don't you see that our ancient old book is the Truth , the Light and the Way ? It is not from the devil, and it has endured great abuse from satan and it's followers. I don't know what religion you are, but I am a firm believer in God. Everything in the Holy Bible comes from God. Yes, we all fear, and follow rules, and that is what God tells us to do. There are laws on this land and if we don't follow the rules then we are not walking with God. satan is on a rampage and for years , it has been trying to destroy Christians. Read in the Holy Bible what it says about Christians. I apologize, I do not see where you are coming from. But I do think you are trying to have us see it your, way. Take care and may God bless you, Always.

first if you cant dance you shouldnt lead ,,and second read the intire book before you judge an intire group ,,the things you say about christians are true of you,, you have a prejudice against an intire group for the assumptions that you profess why take out on everyone the feelings you should work out with a counselor or a trained professional ,, heres a hint the Bible says each man must work out their own salvation with prayer and suplications and tears .. so if i am not exactly like you its my religion not the other persons ,, and we all have to decide how to approuch God and the afterlife in our own way,, i just believe in the teachings of a hebrew carpenter ,,you could follow jack and jill up the hill or maloch or ballim its up to you .. just dont lump about 200 sects of christianity togeather

I see where you are coming from. I don't agree. When you stray from your religion(Christianity) your life gets messed up BAD. What the Bible said make sense to me. And is the base of humanity. Lucifer told Eve,"Surely you will not die." Take a bite. As for God sending his children to hell.....He does not choose to do it,they do! If you had a child that wouldn't listen to you and say that the child liked to beat your other children up. You told him to stop and he just thumb-his-nose at you. You knew that some day that child would kill one(or more) of your other children. What would you do????? Send them away???? If they left you at the age of 21 would you Chase them down and plead for them to come home?????

Well first, what's up dude! u asked there an interesting question. My opinion is that it depends on your family, for example, my family is SUPER christian, but open minded. We accept evolution, and try to use common logic. We talk a lot about that stuff, were not fanatic. And besides, there's a LOT of things in the Bible that i don't believe.
P.S= sorry for the english gramatical errors (i'm not american)

All humans hate stop pinning it on Christians, the fact that some Christians hate others is an attribute to humanity not Christianity.

Get over yourself...if it bothers you so much why don't you ask something about someone else's religion?? Errr...stupid loser, Jesus said we'd be persecuted for our beliefs in Him...but you wouldn't know coz you don't OPEN your mind wide enough!! And God's only gonna bring destruction to those who never believed, who blasphemed the Holy Spirit and said bad stuff about His chosen ones!!
So get a life and never come back...
May God have mercy on you!!
