No he is not gay, he is 6´2´´ weighs 167 lbs., is bi-lingual like me, has an IQ of 136 (+/- ), has a B.A degree in management, is very witty and funny in both languages, does not drink or do drugs and has had a lot of girlfriends ( american, mexican, guatemalan, Salvadoran ) all of whom have asked him to marry them or live in together but as soon as he hears the word marriage he gets cold feet and ends up saying no, he was immature about that but now he says he is ready, my wife has tried to get him to meet her single friends ( most of them in their 45s or 47s ) but here is the catch: he does not look 49, he has some silver hairs on the sides but no wrinkles, and since he exercises his body doesn´t look as a 49er and frankly the women look either his age or older, he says that he is doomed and he won´t find anyone, is it true that if you don´t get married by certain age you better forget it?, should he look for younger women? what ages? where? how should he go about meeting wowen?

When we ladies go on the manhunt, we go where the men are. No, NOT bars and clubs, you don't want those. We go to home building stores like Home Depot, Ace Hardware, computer stores like Fry's and Best Buy, auto parts houses, you know...places like that when you can see them as they really are.

So, your brother needs to go where the women are. The mall, shoe stores that sell men's and ladies shoes, hair shops like in malls, the grocery store at the odd hours. Single men and women avoid grocery shopping when the moms and kids will be there.

There are opportunities out there, he just needs to be ready and willing to approach after checking the ring finger.

DO NOT join a matchmaker sight. Email and I'll share a couple of horror stories.

Tell him I said good luck.

Sure, he could look for younger single women, I know of many people who are looking at a range 10 years younger or older. I would say do not push him until he is ready. Everyone seems to think there is a certain age, but I know many people working on their second and third marriages at 49. What good is it to get married if it does not last . . kinda defeats the point. When he is ready I am sure he will find someone special, and be glad he waited for the right time.

Don't push him, some guys are just destined to never marry.
I have a friend that is 43 and never married. He is just too dang choosy.
If you must interfere, turn him on to Eharmony.com
i have a female friend who met her husband that way.

He doesn't have to get married. Nobody does. If he doesn't want to get married, I see no reason for him (or you) to worry about it. If he does, he might as well get out there and check out his options — what's he got to lose? As for the younger-woman question, that's OK, as long as they're legal.
