"can a flat cartoon represent a real person"
It can't which I suppose is kind of the point its just a fun approachable image for people who don't know you. Mine looks quite a bit like me in general appearance but thats about it. My avatar has quite a thin face I dont. Anyway I would be more intrested in which people look exactly like the avatar :o that would be intresting to see!

haha yes, it's a picture of me.

But for the cartoony Yahoo! avatars.....for the most part..? not really. I have orange hair, and they don't have my hairstyle, but I don't really use my avatar. I would say I look better than a goofy looking cartoon. The faces, hair styles, hair colors, shapes, eyes shapes, clothes, facial features are limited, so I'd be sad if I looked like mine... ahha

Karina, there are human beings in this international who get off on making others depressing. you're completely ok as you're and your avatar would not could desire to look as in case you - if it regarded too very akin to you human beings could know you on the line. Avatars available do not look to allow that some anybody is 40 3, bald, 300lbs or facelifted, yet you are able to guess your next paycheck that some human beings utilising them are all of the above! and probably this creep is taken under consideration one of them. i would not touch human beings on solutions except you have swapped Q and A for a mutually as and you recognize how they think of. And that is going double for men, whom I hesitate to call adult men because of the fact it insults genuine adult men, who attempt to make women cry or insecure!

There isn't an avatar combination that comes close to me. I'm mixed race and while my avatar resembles the verbal description of what I look like, it doesn't come close to the actual physical description of what I look like. I just don't fit a "mold."

I guess I look like mine... I couldn't see having blonde hair on this cartoon that's supposed to represent me... lol...

However, I don't usually walk around with "corn rows"... more like take them out and "that's my hair... curly, but long...

I look almost exactly like my avatar, except my hair isn't as poufy and my lips aren't as pouty. But everything else is the same.

Not Me! I was a bit disappointed that they did not have an Avatar which depicted a "Decrepit Old Bas*ard".
