Toughguy ~
In my opinion, I know that amateurs are indeed amateurs, but when these two fought in their teens, Pryor winning that bout, Tommy knew in his mind exactly how tough Aaron really was. Professional Fighters rarely fight the same way they did when they were learning their craft in the amateurs, but Aaron even in his young age showed what a great competitor he was.
If this fight would have happened Pryor would have cleaned Tommy's clock inside of 7 rounds with shades of Hagler Hearns. Anything the "Hitman" threw would be absorbed buy Pryors chin and he would just keep coming and coming just like he did against Alexis.
Tommy had a wonderful straight right (Duran Fight) but Tommy also had a weak chin (Barkley, Hagler and Leonard fights) and Tommy liked to brawl. Bad combination for Hearns, good combination for Pryor.
Every fighter back in the mid 80's stayed clear of Pryor, for good reason too. Leonard was a coward and wanted absolutely nothing to do with the likes of Pryor, Hearns knew all too well what type of fighter Pryor was. The only fighter to step up and challenge a in his prime Pryor was Alexis, and we all saw what happened to Alexis (twice).

I say Pryor by 12th round knockout. Pryor was to aggressive and strong for Hearns even though Aaron would be moving up in weight. Hearns was a tall, lanky welterweight and Pryor would murder his body when he got inside. Hearns would land some good right hands but Pryor had a good chin. If Hearns boxed like he did against Leonard in rounds 8 thru 12 of their first fight, he'll last a while but i think Pryor would eventually chop him down much like Sugar Ray did with relentless pressure and stop him by round 12.

Toughguy excellent match up. Pryor did beat Hearns in the finals of the 139 lb. class 1976 National Golden Gloves. I think Pryor would ice the Hitman inside of 10 rounds. Hearns would no doubt get his shots in but Pryor was great at taking shots. I believe Pryor had the best chin in the last 30- 40 years of professional boxing. Pryor by KO or TKO.

The only hope that hearns would have would be to go and try and knock Pryor out early. The longer it went it would be Pryor's fight. If Hearns was swinging then it'd be a late round TKO, if he was boxing then a points win for pryor.

Leonard might in all probability have overwhelmed Pryor, even nonetheless it would not have been uncomplicated. Being the extra organic at 147 might help. Being purely somewhat quicker and not table certain like Arguello may be complicated for Pryor. Leonard additionally has extra sophisticated boxing skills. Leonard via decision. Pryor places forth a time-honored rate attempt even nonetheless.
