Politely decline. Let the main point of contact know your situation and they will likely understand.

If it was just a virus, it's not catchy any longer. It would not be anything to worry about. I wouldn't let anyone drink after me or anything like that but you should be fine. If you don't feel well to stay for the whole thing just tell them why and excuse yourself and go home. But, don't worry about spreading the germ. If it's going around, a lot of them will have had it too. Also, viruses are funny they don't affect everyone the same. someone else may get it and it only last 1 day. Just depends on the immune system. Go, and have fun if you can.

There is no such thing as a stomach virus. You may have food poisoning. That is usually the cause of what is called stomach virus. If you are going to most likely ruin the wedding by being sick you should let your cousin know fast so a stand in can be ready to take your place.

I would say that it is okay to go to the wedding. Just make sure you aren't sharing utensils, food, or anything else with others. Make sure you wash your hands regularly and just try and keep your germs to yourself, so to speak....

And if you have to cough make sure you do it in to your sleeve or whatever. But make sure you wash, wash, wash you hands as much as possible..And carry around some antibacterial soap for the in between times that you can't make it to a sink.

But it should be okay to go to the wedding. And this is the time of year that these types of viruses go around. So I wouldn't really worry about infecting others, because chances are there are 3 or 4 more people that have a stomach bug and don't know it..So I would just make sure you have good hygiene..and have FUN!!

Do you still feel weak? How about trying good hand washing techniques like turning on and off the faucet with an paper towel. Also try opening bathroom doors with an paper towel. You may have to frequently wash your hands and watch the hands you touch. You don't want to get any sicker. Hopefully, you won't be breathing directly in no ones face. Otherwise, you'll be fine if you're not feeling weak and do the suggestions above.

I would tell your cousin how you didn't want to ruin her wedding by you going to it sick. I mean you could get anyone sick by just talking to them and I'm sure that would just make their day. Also offer ideas of people that can take your place.

I'd go to the wedding, just keep away from people. It would probably mean alot to your friend. If you can, skip the reception.
