Well great I guess, because in order for the born again killer to get to heaven he will have to save the soul of his Atheist victim. Other wise the killer has made no restitution for his sin there for condemning him self to hell.

assuming there really is a heaven and hell?
i believe the official story of heaven and hell is that it makes sense - that is, no matter where you are, you tend to agree with the verdict. it really would be hellish to be in hell, and believe that you don't belong there. (kinda like situations on earth).
i think that once you're there - the stories that seem so central to us - like how you died and how that frustrated what dreams are less important. so, i don't think that the story of innocent victim matters much to this answer.
perhaps the questioner doesn't believe in heaven and hell, and is trying to make it seem stupid. in that case, nevermind.

Scriptures say there is a great gulf, fixed between heaven and hell. In all likelihood, the guilty victim will never see the forgiven perpetrator.
All God did was to ask us to believe on His Son, and eternity in heaven is ours. that's m o r e than fair.

How is the atheist going to be able to see anyone in heaven if he's in hell?

Why is he considered a victim? God has and will always give evidence of His existence to each and every person. Whether they accept it or not is up to them. An atheist can't be an atheist without an Almighty God to be an atheist against. Besides, unbeliever's (atheist s etc....) in hell will be separated from believers and they will not be able to see them anyway.

Uh....they cant both be in Heaven and hell at the same time. Hell is reserved for unrepetent sinners and Heaven is reserved for Gods faithful that does not committ sins like murder.

You could say, "Well, this sucks." or you could make a deal with the devil, get yourself in heaven through the back door, and push your born-again killer through Saint Peter's gate and laugh hysterically as he falls down to hell.

You are assuming the Born-again killer is going to Heaven...a murderer is a criminal, but only God will decide their fate...

People in hell like it there as people in heaven like to be there.
You are missing an important rule that people go to their loves in the next life.
