The word Avatar comes from the Hinduism faith, meaning a symbol or a likeness of a deity, as related to Hari Krishna's.
So the Avatar can represent what you want it to be. I don't think reasonable people will believe that you are really sitting in front of your computer right now wearing an Egyptian headdress.

I liked how my Avatar turned out. It does not represent what I am, or who I want to be. Others might create theirs to reflect the different facets of their personalities. It doesn't make them fools in doing so.

There's nothing wrong with trying to make the avatar look as close to u as possible. There is also nothing wrong with being original and creating something new.

I had alot of fun doing mine, and of course I do not look like my avatar at all. It sure is pretty, though. Why did you pick one that makes you look like a Pharaoh? I wonder what was on your mind at the time. Either way, it is cute.

I think avatars should reflect whatever you want. If you are feeling goofy, put a goofy avatar up. Mine happens to look a lot like me but I am open to changing it, if I ever get bored...

I believe that this up to each and every person out there to
choose how they feel and express themselves. Some like
to match as close as they can to the real you and some like
to have variety. Mine i have gotten as close to what i do look
like, without being ignorant or false about it.

It's supposed to look like your outer image, but there's nothing wrong with being creative... you could create what looks like your inner image or whatever you prefer... it's your choice.

Mine doesn't look anything like me. However, I can create one that looks exactly like me. Even the same hair. But I prefer the alter ego.

Black for the Black Parade LOL...Kidding!! heavily although, i could say that we are a cool steel blue by way of fact we are vibrant and that i like to think of that all of us stand out :)
