how to know if a girl likes you?

im in high school, what are the signs she makes, for if she wants you to know or even if she doesnt.

If she likes you, the signs she makes will depend on her personality - whether she's open about it or not.

Play a team sport?
You might end up seeing her sitting at the sidelines with a friend. Her reason being "Um.. Janie dragged me here. i totally didn't want to come."

In the same class?
You might catch her looking at you every now and then, but then she'll turn away as if she wasn't looking at you.

Got each other's number/email?
No? She'll find a way to get your number or email. She might msg you something silly... like an in-joke between you two, or even an insult. Or she'll find a 'perfectly good reason' to ask you a question. "I've lost my text book... do you know who has it?" or "Hey, do you have any notes on [insert subject]?"

Nope, it's not just in movies:
If she's a stereo-typical girl, you'll be able to suss things out from her friends. If she's with a few of her close friends, they'll most likely giggle, writing notes to each other:
At school?
They might just end up sitting at a table near by... and they'll make sure she sits next or across from you. The friends might suddenly walk away leaving you two alone...
At a group outing?
The friends'll make sure she sits next to you.. or she'll do it herself. She might 'not feel like eating that much', and end up wanting to share a meal with 'someone'.

Ahahaha.. girls can be pretty easy to decipher sometimes... XD hope that helps!

Is kind of difficult as the ladies out there is always different in nature. Perhaps the following guideline could be applicable:

1. When you talk to her, she don't look at you (shy)
2. She always care about you and interested about all your news through your close friend (find out from your friend)
3. She always look at you when you are passing by in far distance
4. In front of group of friend, she is always supporting your ideas.
5. You may make an experiment to call her out personally. If she does, then 50% she likes you.
6. You may ask to borrow something from her (which you knew that the things is at home actually). And see whether she care to bring it to you the next day or not.
7. Just ask her to solve one of your high school subject problem and see whether she willingly to teach you or not.
8. If all of the above doesn't work, then is only love at one side (meaning you love her and not the other way round)
9. If No. 8 still not satisfy your feeling, then ask her directly.

Well, first of all flirting, if some chick is flirting with you than that's your biggest and most obvious clue that she likes you. If she likes you, she could be staring at you for a long period of time..or gets nervous when she talks to you. Also, if she has trouble getting words out, is shy around you...things like that. Usually guys miss all the signs, which proves how completely clueless they are..No ofense. :)

Well as always it depends on the girl....Im 15 and Im a sophmore in highschool so as a high school girl lets see if i can sum it up a little for you....

in general: she blinks a lot
leans her head to one side
is very physical towards you...ie LOTS OF HUGS
sits on your lap
plays with your hair
she may ask for rides home (if you drive)
sit by you in class or at football games
ask you to a dance such as sadies (turn around)
she will have her friends ask if you like her
she will ask who you like OFTEN
dress extra cute when she hangs out with you
she may start listening to your fave. bands.
pay attention to hands and notebooks....initials pop up there.
and in the end you could always..........ask.

if she glances 2 u when u r around, strikes up conversations wif u over da dummest things, smiles @ u when her frens r not around, ask u 2 do her favours...
but sum girls r shy n they'll just pretend 2 not notice u.
oh, n if her frens giggle either real loud or softly when they see u or walk past you, n dat girl nudges dem or looks embarassed, that's a clue too. unless, of course, u hav sumthing on ur face or sumthin. :)
