When you are sitting silently, where is your tongue? Does it lay in the bottom of your mouth?

SERIOUSLY- Does it lay in the bottom of your mouth, or do you force it to press against the roof of your mouth?

Dr. Sam-do you know of any other reason (besides myotonic dystrophy) that would explain my tongue being constantly pressed to the roof of my mouth, instead of relaxed in the bottom?

Snowflake-I actually have been like that for more than 12 years, and it's with all my muscles. I am always tensed and am never able to relax. It started with my tongue so long ago that I honestly couldn't remember if the tongue was supposed to be up or down!
