Hi I just got a hair dryer with a finger diffuser and concentrator and it cost me like $37.00(canadian) ..can someone please tell me the purpose of a finger diffuser and a concentrator....and is the cost worth it?

A finger diffuser gently separates the hair as it dries it, as if you were using your fingers to style it.

A concentrator "concentrates" the air into a small exit area from the dryer so it is easier to style very small sections at a time.

In my opinion, you really don't NEED either one of them, as your fingers do a better job of styling and concentrating the air into one small spot is never that good for your hair.

I would try them both, though, to see if they work for you. If not, then no, it's probably not worth it.
