I would like to download pictures of cats and kittens now that I live where I can't have one. Any sites that allow downloads would be appreciated. Thanks.

if you want to use it as your wallpaper, i suggest you use the webshots utility. Available at http://www.webshots.com .
They have a very huge collection.

Type in "kitten picture generator" and see if it is still there with the cutest pictures of kittens you can imagine. I found it a couple of years ago and downloaded about 50 pictures.
