The Xanax I have have been expired since March of this year.

It would probably be best to not take it. I doubt that it becomes dangerous once it expires. It probably is just less effective. However, the chance that it could have become dangerous, isn't really worth it.

Don't listen to those people, I have been taking xanax for 25 years now, I have had some for almost a year and still take them....If anything they just won't be as strong, But they will still work for you......Take your pill if you need it for heaven sake....7 months is not going to hurt you

you shouldn't take expired medication. There's a reason it has the expiration date. The best thing would be to go to your doctor and ask for a new prescription or replacement pills.

I don't think it can hurt you, it may just lose a bit of potency.

I'd call a 24 hour Walgreens or CVS pharmacy and ask.
