Two of the many laws of Physics state: (1) "Life must come from life" [Law of Biogenisis] (2)." Energy can not be destroyed but takes on another form" (close -anyways), [Universal Law]
Science its self proves that a life-form started the proverbial "ball" rolling. The Biblical view point says, our first parent was made here, on earth "of the dust [dirt or clay] of the ground" and life was instilled at that point ,within the first man. Therefore," we" were already here and didn't need to "get here".
I have studied into the Evolutionary Theory and find that since the introduction of the theory by Darwin in the late 1800s, science has come along way since then, to give us the tools necessary to test the Evolutionary Theory here, in the 2006 ! The results are most discouraging for those who hold to the 1800 Darwin concocted view. Yes; it has many "holes" in it, as you have stated. I think the question you present needs to be restated in this nuclear age and is better served, by stating, " If there is no God, (instead of saying, "how did we get here?") - "how are we to remain here" ? There better be a God or we on earth are going to be an extinct species.

Why is there such urgency for you to know exactly how we got here? It's obviously important to you and probably a reason you believe there is a god. God is a non-answer for questions of this nature. Basically you are noticing a gap in human knowledge and filling it with god because you don't know any better. What research is there to support the claim that god made the universe? Logic certainly doesn't support the god claim... if everything had to be created then what created god? If intelligence is too complex to appear from natural causes how do you explain the intelligence of your god?
The god solution simply raises more questions than it answers. I'm perfectly fine with not knowing exactly how we got here until we have a good reason to believe one way or the other.

There are also many holes in the theory of god creating the world. I couldn't think of anything new but something relating to the energy, dimensions, and physis theory. Religion exists because no one really knows any better about this, and the best answer to the unknowns are god creating everything.

Order can readily occur out of chaos, so long as the ordered state produces sufficient entropy and the ordered state is a lower energy state than the chaotic state.
Study your physics before you dismiss it. You'll look like much less a kook if you do.

We focused in on here.
Just like you get curious about new knowledge or even a video game, we shift our awareness into here and forget everything else.
If time is eternal in spirit form, then now is also eternal as we remain in spirit. When we are doing the things we choose to do and have passion, time ceases to exist.
Now is eternal, we cannot never be separate from now, even if I remember yesterday, I bring it in the now.
Therefore, god is the same as right now, because all thoughts, creations, or dreams exist right now...We just need to see heaven right now and live it right now.

Dont worry about these people calling you idiot, because you have your own opinion and they have theirs, so they have no right to call you that.
NO ONE can comprehend the love of God. His first ever creation was Jesus Christ. Then blah blah blah, he made the earth and the animals. Then he made man in his image. He saw that Adam was lonely and therefore created a woman for him, which was Eve. Eve was Adam's lifesaver and Adam was Eve's protecter. God created Eve from one rib out of Adam's body after putting him into a deep sleep. Then they sinned and were kicked out of the Garden of Eden.
That was only the beginning. When Jesus Christ came to Earth in human form, he lived like us. He felt pain, suffering, prosecution, and sadness. But he also felt joy, happiness, and satisfaction. Just like us, only he could NOT sin. He just wasnt able to sin, because he was the Son of God.
For example: if the big bang were true, then where did all the matter and energy come from in the first place? It couldnt JUST appear. Like how all of a sudden a huge bang occured and all of a sudden the earth was created perfectly for us to live on. How is it that we are just the right distance away from the sun so we dont die? How is it that male and female genitals fit perfectly so we can reproduce? Its just not possible that everything happened perfectly with no intention of it.
Theres more to life than just living it!
But thats my opinion.
God bless!

Are you asking us to solve the mystery of our existence by a simple belief in God? how naive to ask us to believe in a God that is abstract who serves to appease our anxieties and worries about being here in a vessel called earth .. If God created us why did he create the flies and the bees and the dogs and the bacterias and the viruses and the dark matter in the universe? Is he hiding in the dark matter so that we cant see him? nothing around us makes sense not even being there with no purpose....for in reality we serve no purpose in this world we are only visitors and nothing more... so enjoy your stay without imposing on us a naive belief ...

Make you a deal, I won't spout Darwin, or anything intelligent if you stop spouting the bible
You know, normally your type is unwilling to understand evolution...but not you....You seem incapable of understanding basic biology.
I'm not sure if this is an improvement

How would our ignorance of how we got here prove a god exists? So, your question is baseless to start out with.
However, if you wish to know how order comes out of chaos, try looking into the research of the Santa Fe Institute.

God made man and his image.....then created women name eve...... i don't know all the story, but then from there we are on our own......then men and women created babies, and that's were we came from our mother's womb's......but we not really on our own, he helps us through everything.....the bad , and the good times. Sweet heart , this is a good question.....if the world think about god more often , then it would be a much better place......I hope this helps.
