Cats normally twitch when they're asleep....it signifies that they are in the dream state of sleep (all animals dream.) Maybe the spa treatment relaxed him so much that he's dreaming more. :-)
Or maybe he's dreaming about what happened in the spa.

If he's twitching when he's awake also...then that's a concern for a possible neurological problem.

If you have any doubt, call your veterinarian and describe what's going on. (I'm assuming you have one, since no reputable pet spa would accept a pet not current on vaccinations verifiable by a licensed DVM. And you wouldn't want your cat to go to a spa that didn't verify that the other pets were properly vaccinated against contagious diseases.)

Well, for starters, cats don't generally need baths and that alone could be the culprit. Check with the spa to see what type of shampoo they used. Your kitty could be allergic to it. If he twitches, wow, I know with a dog, that generally means they're dreaming of running or something. Suppose it could be the same for a cat, though, I don't really know. If you call the spa and ask them if they've had alot of problems with other cats, they're not going to be truthful, you know. So, call your vet and explain to them what is happening. You might have to take kitty in to be seen, but if it cures the twitching and sneezing, its a small price to pay.

I agree with calling the spa back and asking them what they used on my cat then checking with the vet. Or he could be dreaming about playing in the water. I have a cat who plays in her sleep.

Most cats twitch when they sleep and it means they are dreaming. Is he afraid of baths? Maybe that traumatized him. Could the sneezing be anything from his bath, like special soap or something? If he seems very different from his usual self maybe you should have him see the vet, otherwise, he will probably bounce back to him usual self.

I would call the spa first so you have an idea of what products they used
