Death is something mysterious and unpredictable to us humans, but to God. The baby's life might be short-lived but the time that she/he was spared on earth is for the parents to love and care for, and return to God when the time comes. In Islam, children and babies who die go to Heaven and are believed that they pray for their parents to join them in heaven and even wait for them in the doors of heavens. I have lost a sister when she was just a small child of 7 and we believe tht she patiently awaits for my parents at the Heaven door.

Do not grieve them, instead rejoice the fact tht God has spared them the sufferings of the world and placed them in a better place

I think God has a reason for everything, and as long as we live on this earth, then we'll never know the reasons. I do think that when we see God our eyes will be opened. I do understand the pain a parent must feel at the loss of a child, and I understand the anger they may have toward God. I have two children, and I don't even want to think about anything ever happening to them. But they belong to God more than they belong to me. Take Care.

Whew, long answer above me. Have fun reading that one. Sometimes it's hard for us to understand what God must be thinking. There is so much pain and hurt in this world it's insane at times. I like to think that God sees things differently than us. He is outside of time, and is able to see before us, behind us, and within us. I don't think anyone is going to be able to explain why a precious and innocent baby had to die, because none of us have the privelege of comprehending the mind of God. But I think we can take comfort in the fact that God has given that baby a special place in his home and is loving him with a love stronger than anything we are capable of. Life is rough at times, but that just makes us stronger in the end. Hope this helped, and I'm very very sorry for your loss. God bless.

This is not the work of God. Sin has corrupted all the human genes. People die all the time, including children. There have been two children die in my wife's family in the last month. One was two years old and the other was 3 months. Both were loved by Christian parents and grandparents. We forget sin and the fallen state of the environment we live in. All the prayers and tears that were poured out on them did not save them. This is the evil result of sin that plagues this world, not the work of God. If you trust God, you will see that baby again.

I believe all babies in their first five years are still connected to the spiritual world. I do believe our life as a human being is predetermined prior to birth. We are spiritual beings choosing to have a human experience. We all have and had something we wanted to experience as a human being, we simply have no physical memory of it, spiritually we do, but we lose that memory at about 9 or 10 years of age. Unfortunately we blame God for something we have chosen to experience. Now in order to accept this perspective one has to first believe he/she are spiritual beings, my belief is we always were and always will be, and one day mankind will awaken to this truth, and that's when he will become more godly which I believe will bring peace to our world God bless.

sadly we are just physical beings who will pass away for many reasons , young and old
and people who have lost babies , i can only imagine the hurt and anger felt there
but the way i see it is ..
rather than be angry at God , perhaps think that if there is a God ( and i say if for those who arent sure or dont believe )
then those babies we loose will be held safely until such time we can be with them again
i dont blame God for deaths ... but i do think it is wonderful that we will be together again one day with those we love

Someone told me today that God takes Babies and Children to become Angels, before they have learnt the sins of the World.

Baby will be safe with Loved Ones who have gone on before. I hope this gives you a little comfort.

I'm sorry for your loss. There are only 2 options.

1. God is a cruel and sadistic being. Christians are fools.
2. There is no god. Christians are still fools.

There is no reason for a life to be taken so young. It should NEVER happen to anyone.

Perhaps she was only needed to bring love to that couple for the short time she was here. She may well have had something else wrong and it wasn't really sids.Babies are precious gifts and all you can do is hope you will be able to watch that child grow. But sometimes they are only given to us for short while so we need to love them as much as we can while we have them and let them go when God calls them home. God Bless you and condolences to whoever suffered this loss.

My mom lost 3 babies and she is at peace with the fact that they are in heaven. It's hard sometimes not to question "why" but we have to believe that God has everything under control, and a reason for the things that happen. I guess we just have to ask him when we get there.
