The Earth has always been in trouble since humans evolved from cavemen. However, I don't think its the end of days as you put it. If the world ends, it will be at the expense of a man made war, no holocaust or armageddon!
As humans, we should be doing more positive things like feeding the starving, etc, because we want to. Not because you think you're going to hell if you don't!
All the lunatic regimes (including religion) should be disempowered and all the religious paraphanalia (such as churches, paintings, antiques, etc) sold and the money given to those who NEED it, not want it!

Even if humans end their time on the planet through stupidity or greed (or both) what makes you think that's the end of the world?
Extinction of humans will mean little to the remaining flora and fauna here. The worst countries for this planet are the First World nations consuming so much and spewing out all the toxins and destructive gases.
And guess which one is the worst?

"And I would not be well pleased with the mess we'v made."
Well, that would be god's mess now wouldn't it? Afterall, if he is omniscient, he knew about what would happen with his creation yet he CHOOSE to go through with it anyway.
Too bad, so sad.
There are a lot of good people in this world who do their best to care for their fellow man, as a matter of fact, it has always been people either caring for others or doing harm...that is how it has always been and will always be. Let go of your little fantasy and your big cushy God teddy bear and live in reality. If the world is going to end, it's going to end. Live in the moment, treat people well and be happy.

Very good . As for the 4 horse men they have been riding for a long time now. When the people of this planet start to take responsibility for there actions, words ,thoughts, and deeds and stop looking for a scape goat to flush there toilet the world will change and so will the people.

no longer probable, before human beings suggested it would want to bring about 2010, and this is 2010 now yet no longer something has handed off yet. the top of global is not basic to foretell because of each and every of the factors that performs in the function. If the international did bring about 2012, that would want to suck!

This Earth may be coming to an end, but the next one will be eternal. Those not loyal to God will have no place in it, so it will not be spoiled or polluted. He will only give Eternal Life to those He can trust with such power and authority.

I fully support your call to action, even if I disagree with part of your premise.
I think the Bible is myth. If there is going to "Armageddon", its going to be in the form of man-made wars fought between religious groups that each think they worship the one true god and are fighting against heathens/infidels.
It's unfortunate that those of us who are sane enough to know that the Bible is a myth might not have any means of stopping this self-fulfilling prophecy.

There are lots and lots of things humans should worry about, which it seems, they are not.
I think that humans and earth lack the resources to sustain their existence, so it will all end eventually anyway.
There's the chance it will all end suddenly, like a huge meteor or asteroid hitting the earth, a huge powerful sun flare, or the chance it will end slowly, like humans slowly running out of resources they need to live, while humans keep dying of starvation, etc.
Also, many believe a big problem is oil. Where will we get more oil from that we need to keep this society of ours running?

I think the earth is quite capable of looking after itself, thank you very much. It's like one of those biorbs you get out of the discovery shop - it just goes murky once in a while.
Men have always thought the end of the world was nigh- even Diogenes thought that. Life will always find a way so lets not worry!!
