How does your belief promote sexual relations?

The Song of Solomon would indicate to me otherwise. Sex is a gift from the Creator to His creation.

Paul speaks of couples not depriving each other of sexual pleasure:

"Do not withhold yourselves from each other unless you agree to do so for a set time in order to devote yourselves to prayer. Then you should come together again so that Satan does not tempt you through your lack of self-control." (I Corinthians 7:5)

No. The Catholic Church teaches that sexual union in marriage has two equally important purposes, which cannot be separated from each other. These are described as the unitive and procreative purposes. Sexual union is for (1) the upbuilding and enhancement of the couple's relationship; for their mutual joy and pleasure; and (2) for the procreation of children. Sexual union for either reason with absolute nullification of the other, is not morally sound.

No. It has a unitive function as well. Otherwise we would be like the animals with females going into heat, finding a guy, doing it and then getting pregnant every single time. That we want to do it year round, and have periods where we are not fertile prooves to me that sex is not just to make babies. It helps bond us to our partner.

No God also designed it to be pleasurable. If that statement were true, then any couple incapable of having children would be living in sin if they used sex for outside Gods purposes.

Sex is a gift of God that we have the blessing to use within marriage and all else is sexually immoral and detestable to God.

No, in ancient days (Genesis) God gave sex to humans as a gift to be enjoyed in marriage. Later, it was written that 'spilling your seed' on the ground was wrong. That's where the pro-creation comes in. Enjoy!

Sex is a wonderful gift from God. The scriptures tell us that husbands and wives are not to deny each other. Sex is a good thing!

No, it's just something to do with you get bored. The girl getting pregnant is just an accident and that's one of the many reasons we have abortions.

If sex was only for pro-creation, there'd be about a couple million kids out there calling me "daddy."

Nope... have you had it? It's quite a good way to keep warm on cold nights as well. It's also a good form of exercise and a way to grow closer to someone you like/love.
