Why on Earth would you want/need to give that to your dog? There is no reason to give it to your dog. If you want to post why you feel the need to do this please do so because it makes no sense to say wow my dog wants a treat, hmmm maybe it would like some honey? Regards KG

First of all RELAX!!! You could be causing the problem by reacting badly to the situation. After all, if you're this upset, feeding time must be something horrible, right? At least that's how the pup could see it. You need to get her on a schedule. Strict eating and bathrooming schedules will let you know exactly when and how much she should, and actually is, eating. Eliminate all chews that are food. Plastic ones only for now. If she gets full on rawhide (or whatever), she won't eat. Like a kid eating cookies before dinner. Back off the feedings for now. Cramming everything but the kitchen sink down her throat isn't helping, it's causing more anxiety, and the poor pup won't get used to regular meals and meal times. It takes puppies a few days to get used to a new home. Like I said... RELAX!!!

yes, karo syrup is fine for yorkies. i have a yorkie and that can be used to prevent hypoglycemia when they are under 5 lbs. i used nutri-stat. it is a concentrated type of gel that has nutrients and sugar so the puppy wont become hypoglycemic. there is a pretty informative book on yorkies by the "your happy healthy pet" series. and its written by marion lane. you can also research hypoglycemia in toy dog puppies, and it says that if you dont have nutri-stat, karo syrup is fine. my dog loved the nutri-stat that i use it as a treat.
