My brother bought a Furbee and I had to bang it with a hammer to make it shut up because it was sitting in the kitchen, didn't have an OFF button and it kept TALKING. Well, It broke and he's pissed. What should I do?

Yes, buy him another one. And they do have switches and batteries that can be taken out. So wtih his next one, if it insists on driving you off your rocker, take out the batteries instead of hammering it to death. If you were him, you'd love your Furbee too.
Yes they don't shut up at times, and yes, they are unnerving at times. My daughter had one and the first time it spoke in the middle of the night it scared the crap out of her and she wouldn't sleep in her room for 4 nights even though we showed her what had spoken out of the darkness. oober creepy...

I dont know whats a Furbee but It kind of reminds me of wat raven's brother bought in That's So Raven. Well, it also seems like ur brother doesnt know who did it. Why dont u just fess up and offer to pay him back. if you dont have cash on u, offer him to do chores to pay him back. And tell him, the furbee was bugging you to the max.

i had a furbee once. it's probably the most annoying thing in the entire world. give him the money to buy a new one, but tell him that it must remain in his room, and you don't wnt to see or hear it.

You owe him another furby.....they do eventually shut up.....I had one when they first came out years ago.....if it really gets on ur nerves, ask him NICELY to take it to a dark room so it will shut up and go to "sleep"........
