I am a young woman.

I cut out all fat from my diet. This week alone I have self-induced vomiting the small amounts of food I eat about five times, this was every time I ate.

I have a terrible fear of weight-ain and think I'm fat.

People constantly comment on my eating habits, tell me I have lost weight or have expressed suspicions about my food intake.

I have gone up to a month without out food, I do not eat breakfast lunch or dinner. I've only eaten about 500 calories this week.

Yes i know all about this because i have about the same problem. I only weigh about 93 on a good day. I have chronic dry skin that is a result of this. I try and eat i think i eat more than you do. I have tons of family problems that i can not control and the shrink tells me i can control this. So he is saying that is why I'm like this. I used to weigh about 125 and now look at me? Get help now while you still can and before you do permeate damage to your body .

I think you are ALREADY in a dangerous situation, from the sounds of it you really need to get some help NOW. If you continue on like this you will not live through it. 500 calories isn't even a normal intake for a day, let alone a week. Talk to your family doctor and find help.

the fact that you can admit this is good.
when i was 19 i ate a box of oreos and threw up right after. i realized how scary that was and never did that again. it took years to admit exactly what that was.

I think you should realize that when you cut out fat from your diet, you are less able to absorb vitamins, etc from good foods. that's why ppl put oil on their salads, for example. fat is good for you, just not hydrogenated fats. so avacados, coconut oil, fish, almond butter, etc is really good for you!

instead of focusing on your eating problems and leaning towards an eating disorder, organize foods you can eat and the portions, so that you ARE eating enough nutrients in every meal. just because you are getting sufficient nutrition doesn't mean you have to gain 20 lbs...

you are probably not fat, but most likely won't listen to anyone who tells you otherwise. thin hurts... when you lose too much weight your bones start to hurt when you sit on them on a wooden chair. sexual things with partners probably isn't as good as it would be like caressing a rack of bones... your periods seriously get messed up , you start to grow unwanted funny downy hair and your skin gets pretty bad. you begin to feel less womanly, too, i find (when you lose lots of weight).

please be careful.. you do sound like your headed in a dangerous direction. food should be enjoyed and to nourish you, not to make your life hell.

If you're worried about it, inquire further, preferably with a professional that can help you with this. God Bless and I hope you will be good to yourself.

yes....you've indicated some classic signs of an eating disorder. you know better, but i'll say this....usually an eating disorder ties in with abuse issues, unresolved issues, low self-esteem. it's about breaking the cycle of your habits around eating, like when you eat, how much, and so on. sure, you think you are fat and scared to gain weight....though without knowing, i feel confident to know you are not fat and gaining some weight about this time is so so very crucial to your health right now. eat a little more each time....and try to keep it in cause the cells in your body need it for growth and energy. reach out and get help.

Yes! eating healthy is very good for you, but NOT eating is not. you should be eating three healthy meals a day, and do NOT force yourself to puke them up afterwards. u should be eating at least 2000 calories a DAY! believe me, this is not the way to go. discuss this with your doctor. u should be exercising to keep weight in check, not starving yourself.
