Always take in dog in such obvious distress to a vet immediately! Don't stop to go online for answers. In a serious illness, moments can make the difference between life and death. Even when the symptoms are not this grave, if the animal's appearance or behavior are not normal, or if they make you uneasy, call a vet! Taking an animal to vet at first sign of illness may cost you for an office visit and maybe a prescription or lab tests. Waiting may cost far more in terms of money, animal suffering, animal death.
