whenever I type in ipconfig in RUN window, the windo just displays for a fraction of a second then disappears?

how can I correct this so that it stays until i close it.

Go to run and type cmd, then once that open type ipconfig.

type cmd first into the run box. This will bring up the DOS screen.

Then type ipconfig. that should do the trick.
