this question is for my guy friend.
So my friend has liked this girl for 3-4 years now. she always tends to lead him on every now and again, but nothing ever seems to happen. He has already expressed how he's felt about her a couple times. And as time goes by he gets more depressed about the situation. So do you think he should keep chasing the love of his life or just move on? And if you think he should move on, what advice do you have to stop talking to her.... because it's tough for him!

Prinzess: I'll betcha ya that if he gives up on her, that she will want him then. I am a male and can tell you this. Some girls like a real challenge when it comes to guys chasing them. Life is sometimes like that - you give up on something and - bang! The opportunity presents its self in a way you never even thought of, to you. Remember; the Nursery rhyme Little Bo Peep ? i.e. "leave them alone (sheep) and they'll come home, wagging their tails behind them".

I am so sorry for your guyfriend. I have been in this situtation more than once. And there's nothing more painful then to be in a relationship where the feelings aren't returned. So my suggestion is first, to renew his thinking about the person. To change the way that he thinks about her. Not that he should start calling her a bad word, just that he should start thinking of her differently. Feelings like these come from an emptyness that we think that the other person can help us fill that void. So that's my suggestion. And it will take time since its been 3-4yrs. God bless you and your friend.

this story does NOT sound right. How can he like someone for 3 years, and nothing ever happens??? I would think after a few months, he would know what's up with her, but 3 years!??! Tell him to have a heart to heart talk with her, and then MOVE ON!!

Have you considered just coming out and telling the girl that it is unfair to just keep him dangling by a thread and to either cut the guy loose or try being honest with him. Sounds like you need to introduce him to someone else.

The only way to get over the girl is to find another one and move on. She's just not that into him.
Good luck to him. He'll find someone worthy of him. Give it time.

He should let her go. Sometimes it will make the girl think and she really might like him but not know it. And with the no talking thing he shouldn't not talk to her just less and gradually ease out of it.

You can't live someone's life for them. I admire his perserverence, but it obviously won't get him anywhere. Perhaps post his name on a dating website and find some nice person for him that can blow his old flame out of the water.

i think they should work it out if he is madly in love about her.. i know it probley sad seeing your friend chasing this girl that makes him depressed. He will have to learn to move on by himself. being a good thing or bad thing

he needs to tell her in a clear way that he cares for her. Whatever answer he gets ,he needs to deal with and grow up ! This will happen many more times in his life

seriously..that girl knows she has him under her thumb so she doesnt really want to bother with him.
but once your friend starts moving on and not showing her much attention..thats when she'll go chasing after him and trying to get his attention again..

and then your friend can just have fun with it
